I wanted to try a new look for Koto. I figured that in his teen years, the fur along the sides of his face did something like this.

So Koto's about 16 here, and he's on his way to the Imperial Army encampment for his first day of training as a soldier. Problem is, the captain and soon-to-be superior is his own father, Captain Chen Qing. After years of his father's abuse and being expected to act like a little soldier, Koto can only imagine how he'll be treated now that he's signed up as such. He's determined, however, to become a better captain that Qing ever was, and decides that if Qing never treated him like a son, Koto won't treat him as a father. His captain, but not his father.
