Rekindled

Based on the RPs and I have been doing. Just a lil' cuteness between Sun and Shifu (as elderly kitties, or course ). As for their story......

Sun and Shifu were devoted little lovebirds when they were younger, and Shifu had plans to propose to her.......until he found Tai Lung. Sun loved the kitten like her own, but through the years she realized how much Shifu was changing. And once he took a total turnaround after Tai Lung's betrayal, she finally had to break it off (she tried to help Shifu, but he'd become so ridiculously closed up ).

After the events of the movie, Sun and Shifu run into each other again. Neither are entirely thrilled to see each other..... Sun is irritated of Shifu's closed-up bitter nature (which Shifu has since come out of, but she doesn't know that yet), and Shifu is irritated by how smart-aleky Sun has become in her aging years. It takes quite a while......but Sun starts to realize how Shifu's been slowly going back to the one she once knew and Shifu starts to remember it was that same fiery tomboyishness he fell in love with long ago.

Old affections slowly rekindle between the two. However, Sun picks this as the wrong time to announce that she's engaged. She has never gotten married, instead too busy taking care of her ailing father and hoping that Shifu would someday change his ways again. But in ancient China, almost nothing was more frowned upon than an unmarried woman of Sun's age. Her fiancee is a chancellor mountain cat named Jing Sheng. Shifu has a bad feeling about this guy.......and proves to be in the right when he notices a bruise on Sun's arm.

It seems a moment too late for Sun to be saved from the impending marriage with the wedding only a week away..... But not it Shifu has a say in it.
